Application: Simple Drop Systems Installed in military vehicle repair tents designed by Alaska Structures.
Summary: Since 1975, Alaska Structures has been developing high-grade fabric building and camp systems. They specialize in engineering military vehicle repair facilities, shelter systems, field hospitals, and more. In this case study, Alaska structures built a series of service and repair tents to accommodate military vehicles in the desert.
Challenge: After installing military vehicle repair and service tents, Alaska Structures was faced with the challenge of removing toxic and carcinogenic air contaminants. Diesel emissions can quickly reach toxic levels when released inside of an enclosed building and must be extracted before entering the airstream.
Solution: Fume-A-Vent provided Alaska Structures with user-friendly, durable rope-and-pulley simple drop systems to allow for dual exhaust in each repair and maintenance tent.
The Fume-A-Vent simple drop systems conveniently pull up and out of the way when not needed but is readily available when running field humvees are present. By utilizing exhaust removal systems to capture and remove toxic exhaust emissions, military bases can secure a cleaner atmosphere and protect the health of their troops.
